Perentie (Varanus giganteus) stalking off
A large Perentie (Varanus giganteus) monitor lizard was crossing the
road as we drove past. Sandy stopped the bus and I got out to take a
photo of it. Very carefull not to get too close as I had no wish for
it to start heading towards me rather than away from me.
