Hot afternoon ride, just under 30C according to the BoM, up around 35C out on the road according to the Garmin. North through Oakleigh and over the freeway to Gardiners creek, up through Ashburton to the shops, Anniversary trail and Ferndale track, Glen Iris wetlands then south to Carnegie and home along the Djerring trail.
Called in at the LBS that isn’t really my LBS even though I have a soft spot for them from my 1996 purchase of norky bike, tried to take a peek at a bike that piques my interest. No sign of that model until… um, sometime.
Riding along Koornang road the heavenly choirs sang and a glorious sign did appear… not quite, but for the first time in about 18 months there were no cars parked in the no standing zone, perhaps the council is finally doing something about it.
