A fake Jamaican took every last dime with a scam. It was worth it just to learn some sleight-of-hand. ☁️
Date night! Err, afternoon. Number one son away for the afternoon so Jo & I went out for a ride, meeting up at the north end of Jells park to ride out along Blind creek track to Knox to collect some click, but then got there to discover that without photo ID nobody was collecting anything. Oh well, we decided to continue on up the creek … without a paddle … ducking carefully at each road crossing where the bike path reused one of the storm-water channels. Popped out halfway between Boronia & Ferntree Gully, turned right along the railway-side path to the station, then found our way onto Ferny creek trail for the ride back as far as Scoresby. Unfortunately it doesn’t quite rejoin Jells park, but luckily there’s a brewery nearby so we dropped in a for a pint. Back to Jells park, Jo hopped in the car to come home, I rode up the ugly hill and back along Ferntree gully road.
The PassBox & cameras got some lovely footage of bushland and bike paths, then both cameras went flat at Scoresby after about 2 hours, so they missed all the “fun” of the traffic back home. There’ll be distance readings, but no video to accompany them
