South to Bunnings for chores, of course there’s no bike parking at Bunnings because Bunnings is for blokes and blokes drive 4WDs. Missed out on a sausage in bread by about 2minutes too! Then down and around Karkarook lakea and the gravel tracks to Old Dandenong road. Met a birdwatcher along the way and had a chat about the wildlife around that park, then left him and promptly just about rode through a small flock of Bronzewing pigeons sunning themselves in the dust.
Turn north, up through Clarinda and pop out at the Djerring trail on the railway line, so home along familiar routes
