Should have gone out at lunch time but I left it too late, the rain started at 2pm and had mostly eased off by 3.30 so out I went. Just a short ride, up the Djerring trail to Caulfield, around the racecourse and home along the City of Glen Eira bike lane abomination.
Rain turns motorists brains to mush, so “a metre matters” until it comes to passing if there’s oncoming traffic or a narrow lane, then they blast through anyway. Without enforcement the new law is worse than useless
