The pretend commute triangle, Djerring trail, Clayton streets and Scotchmans Creek track … or “rail trail” as it is bizarrely signed in some locations, despite there never having been a rail line on it or near it.
Along the way I was double-checking that the fence someone has driven over is still driven over. Sure enough, yes it is. I’d reported it to the council but they were unable to locate “Pedestrian crossing where bike path crosses Dandenong road” and phoned me for clarification, had me wondering if by some miracle VicRoads has repaired it instead. Perhaps they’ll be able to find it now… perhaps they’ll repair it now
Cold and damp, had trouble stopping my fingers from going all pasty white and numb, especially on the section along the creek
