Could have gone out for the daily ride in the morning before it started to rain, but no, followed my usual schedule and took a work break in the late afternoon.
Now where else do you go on a wet rainy day but off along the creeks and through the wetlands? Scotchmans creek trail to Huntingdale wetlands, very full with at least 10mm falling so far today, then over the hill to Mount Waverley and down to Gardiners creek and the very froggy wetlands in Holmesglen Reserve. Off down the creek on the Gardiners creek trail until it climbs up to join the Anniversary trail, it was here at 10.4km from home I saw the first other cyclist! Then down High street to rejoin the creek, around through Glen Iris wetlands, under the freeway and up through Hedgeley Dene and past a few more people out walking. Burke road to Caulfield, then home along a near-deserted Djerring trail
