Revisiting the Deakin Uni section of Gardiners creek trail & Wattle Park — I’d ridden past or through a few days ago and we’d come up here in the car for a morning walk. Around through some hilly parts of well-off suburbia and back down the Anniversary trail. Minor detour for a gelato in Ashburton then tempted fate by rolling the entire length of Ferndale track mostly one-handed while eating it, dodging dogs, joggers and a plethora of young kids out to ride the jumps. Post-gelato coffee at Blake’s feast, then south to Carnegie & home along the Djerring trail
