Around a fairly normal afternoon loop, taking it easy because my right elbow tendons are being painful from either injury or overuse.
The ride interrupted by a major blockage between Chadstone and the freeway by a tree down that completely filled the track. Climbing up a metre wall into the garden and around it then lowering the bike a metre and a half back to the path was a challenge. Up the Anniversary trail and down the Ferndale track, coffeeneuring coffee at Blakes Feast and a meander around Glen Iris wetlands. I’d tried to get a coffee up on the Anniversary trail but the shop was shut, refused to call in at Ferndale park where I’d been two weeks ago, then called in at Blakes Feast for one of their always-good macchiatos
Home up through Carnegie, detouring along a laneway I’ve seen many times but can’t remember if I’ve ever ridden it.
