Inbound trains at a standstill the whole way home, overtook two stopped outside stations on reds. Apparently there’s “wildlife on the track” at Caulfield
Thankfully the level crossing on the Djerring trail in Clayton was open so I could ride across it, then caught up to and passed the first train stopped before Huntingdale. A suburb later and I passed the next train, stopped waiting to enter the section with Oakleigh station. Finally as I got to the next level crossing the second train came crawling up and slowly passed, to stop at the next signal and wait to enter the section with Hughesdale station. Glad I was riding and not catching the train today!
