All the “path closed” and “detour ahead” signs are still up along the bike path from Ferntree Gully road to the freeway… but just like yesterday, there bike path isn’t closed and there is no detour. Forster road is closed, but the bike path still squeezes through the building site under the freeway
Scared the beejeebus out of a driver who, as per usual, ignored the Give Way signs and drove out across the bike path then stopped “for the traffic” at the edge of the road looking right. She heard the loud squeal of the wet disc brakes and her head spun round to see me looking grumpily in the left window at very close range
After I got home I’d finally got around to starting the Cycliq app. on my phone to reset the Cycliq camera to the end of day light savings time… surprise surprise, it hasn’t recorded a thing since the 22nd of February, despite being switched on and showing a green “operating” light on every ride! All those drivers trying to hit me at intersections, oh well, no proof, guess it didn’t happen. Yet again reset the #Cycliq. Yet again reformatted the SD-card. Yet again did a test video that works just fine. It truly is an expensive brick at times
