Another late afternoon ride at the end of a non-cycling day, snuck in another 10km or so up and down Port Huon and surrounds as the sun went down. Firstly off to the south-west, over a boardwalk and up a side road that lead towards some docks I’d seen earlier – found large piles of buoys and ropes at the side of the road and eventually a large industrial gate and various signs forbidding entry – oops, too busy looking at the river as I’d crossed the bridge and I hadn’t realised the entire area was private property of one of the fish-farming companies. Then back through the town, up and down a few minor side roads but none of them seemed to connect to each other, then out to the wharves and fishing pier before hurrying back to the pub for a beer as it was getting dark
