A surprising number of kangaroos in the paddocks alongside the river here, together with the riverside parkland it certainly didn’t feel like you were in Melbourne any more
Downstream as far as the Bourke road bridge, then back mostly the way we’d come, but with a few excursions along single track and muddy paths through the bush. Lots of fun
