My usual Sunday rides are after lunch, today we’ve got things to do later so I rescheduled to the morning, out for two hours then home in time to cook everyone soup. Felt doubly smug in the afternoon as the constant rain fell against the windows, having had clear skies the entire time I was out in the morning
Tailwinds all the way out to Jells park and down the Eastern freeway trail, then turned at Yarraman and straight into a headwind the whole way home. Unsurprisingly, Strava says I made all kinds of PBs on segments for the first two thirds and none at all for the last one
Second time I’ve now met a mob of roos in Jells park, then met another lot further down the creek between Ferntree Gully Rd and Wellington Rd- had to wait for them to cross the path
