A metre matters … apparently, until there’s someone driving towards you & the driver behind can’t leave a metre, in which case 20cm will do. Then when 3/4 of the way past the cyclist, slow down and turn left without indicating, it’s the #Oakleigh way. Useless, the lot of them
…and there was me thinking that the woman who drove through the Give Way sign and parked across the bike path in Gardiners road was going to be this commute’s excitement, no, that was just the entree. Perhaps her passenger will explain to her what the road signs and little white lines mean, perhaps she’ll drive legally, perhaps little piggies will learn to fly
There was such an enjoyable late winter/early spring feel to the ride too, if it wasn’t for Melbourne’s Marvelous Motorists(TM) it’d be quite enjoyable
