The roadworks under the freeway along Forster road are almost complete, all that’s left are rows of plastic bollards. Seems to have taken months and at last both bike paths either side are usable, a few more weeks and the left lanes will be open again so you’ll be able to ride straight through on the green light and a single lights cycle rather than on the bike path and stop and wait for six beg buttons - four if you’re lucky! VicRoads seem determined to make the bike path unusable, or to entice riders to go through their red lights by deliberately making the bike path lights wait for a push and not go green with the adjacent road lane
