One last ride before I get to 1000, something a little different on the way home, just extend it to Glen Iris station and come up through the urban forest and Boyd park. Was nearly bitten by a wildly barking, snapping, leaping Jack Russell that needed someone larger than a seven year old holding its lead, then had it go for the four or five year old girl on a bike behind me, then her mum, then both a dog and its owner walking past the other way. Some people really need to muzzle their dogs in public!
Stopped off in Boyd park to examine the trees and eventually spot on of the Tawny frogmouths, not on a nest, just perched almost invisibly against a branch
