Everything wet from rain earlier, but no rain while I was out
Up to an LBS for some spare tubes and to discuss drilling out the loose spinning riv-nuts on the roadie, then down to Packer Park for however long it was going around and around. Somewhere along the way the Garmin heatrate monitor decided to misbehave, so while I rolled around comfortably humming tunelessly, it decided I was hammering along with a heartrate of 165bpm. Treat any numbers it shows today with great suspicion… and poking around later I found that the headunit had decided that since my maximum heartrate was over 230bpm, my heartrate zones were all adjusted accordingly, which may explain why I have difficulty getting above zone 2 when exercising!
Called in on the way home at Boyd park to look for the tawny frogmouths but couldn’t see any today
