Pleasantly damp and peaceful, out in a little light rain which stopped about half way up the Anniversary trail. then down the Ferndale trail.
Gardiners creek was in flood, but not yet overflowing the banks, I suspect that’ll come tomorrow
There was a bit of a slip’n’slide at times on Ferndale trail as the #fixie isn’t the ideal vehicle for the muddy gravel path. Called in at Pantry near Ferndale Park for the first #coffeeneuring coffee of the year, a #cappuccino to start off my participation in what is the silliest cycling challenge of each year
Bit of added excitement on the way home at East Malvern station; much shouting from behind me in the car park, and I turned to see a guy on foot racing after two people escaping on a moped. He then turned round, raced back to his van, jumped in and tore off after them. Missed most of the details due to distance and it being behind me
