Last chance for week six of the #coffeeneuring challenge so the pressure was on. South-east for 5km along the Djerring trail, then back into Oakleigh, a lovely half suburb of drafting an illegal e-Scooter before he turned off. Then the all important stop and a short macc. from the newish Corner Cafe Oakleigh. Newish because although its been fitted out for months it was also closed up for months with the ubiquitous “Staff Wanted” sign on the door. They have staff now, and after today the one on the till knows what a macciato is.
Then back through Hughesdale and rejoin the Djerring trail, 5km off in the opposite direction takes me to the new “Caulfield Village” apartment and shops complex, around that and back homewards. Pausing only to take a photo of the demolition in progress of the Poath Road shops
