Where to go, where to go? I should go out for a longer ride, in fact I should probably be training up a bit more for the Alpine Classic in late January…
Down to Karkarook lake and a half lap of the lake, then westwards through industrial bits to Chesterville road and down to the bay. Up along the bayside trail looking … and smelling .. the choppy brown water, certainly not looking its best today after the rains and flooding and with a brisk wind. I did get to see one of the restored timber couta boats making good use of the wind though, so that was enjoyable
Up and over the hill through St Kilda, watched an e-scooter rider illegally on the footpath plow straight into a woman as she stepped out of a cafe, amazingly she didn’t fall over or drop the glass she was carrying, but it was a fairly solid tackle and stop of the rider.
Then home up Inkerman, nearly collected by a “turn left without indicating” driver at one of the sets of lights - spidey sense said he was about to behave unpredictably, but the pull out to the right had me thinking he was changing lanes, not about to hook back in and turn the corner!
