Fingers crossed but I may have just found an SD-card that the Cycliq Fly12 will accept for more than 5minutes and have resurrected the expensive brick back to life as a camera1. For the first time in months, years perhaps, I managed to have it run for the entire ride home and record the whole way, not beeping, flashing, and deciding that the card was corrupt (and corrupting several brand new cards along the way)

1 High-end name-brand “ultra” SD card, for automotive dashcam use. A good try, but no, it made it through about two hours of use and gave the double-beep and flashing light, “card is corrupt”. Seems to be only “a bit corrupt” so it I power it off and back it’ll start up again. The Cycliq Fly12 truly is woeful
