Riding home at dusk at the end of a warm, still afternoon. I hit optimum insect density, too dark to wear sunglasses, too buggy to have no eye protection! Lots of small insects in the eyes and mouth, and lots of squinting and trying to see where I was going
Roadworks progressing on Stanley Avenue, although it doesn’t look as though the position of the crossing is going to be relocated, what I’d read of that must have been a proposal rather than part of the plan
