An absolutely cold and miserable winter day, rain pelting on the windows from the time I got up to at least three pm, when it eased off a little I made the most of it and took off for the day’s ride. Didn’t really want to get too far from town in case the next squall hit so it was north up the coast to Cathedral rocks – where the sign has been “souvenired” – then back to town and out the other side, and on to the St George river. Branches and leaves down everywhere, whitecaps across the bay and gusty winds blasting the trees back and forth. Surprisingly enjoyable, if a bit cold and wet
