The weather wasn’t looking that great all day so I wasn’t sure when to go out or how far to go; around 2pm after lunch and decided I’d better head out. Hadn’t been out to the end of the #DjerringTrail for a while so that was the first direction, then down the Eastlink trail a little way to meet the Dandenong creek trail and follow it back along the creek through the parkland up towards Jells Park. I wasn’t in the mood for the Wheelers Hill hills to the west of Jells so I turned off early and came back along the bike path alongside Wellington road. There you have it, the djerring, dandy, welly names. Endless roaring Sunday afternoon traffic passing by on Wellington road, and police helicopters and cars somewhere around Monash Uni – never did find out what that was about. Overshot coming home by half a suburb and ended up at the local for a very tasty pint of brown ale and to restock some supplies
