Continuing the series of short rides on the borrowed bike, out for up to an hour in the afternoon while on a family holiday in Maleny
Once again I left town heading north, this time towards the lake. Passing one of the last houses a guy getting his bins in calls out “You’ll know it on the way back” and I’m tempted to stop and ask him just how steep is it… Couldn’t possibly be as bad as , could it? Well it turns out it wasn’t, the climb back was doable, standing and slow. Very peaceful and enjoyable out at the lake with the lowering sun on the trees and hillsides and very few people or cars about
