Tuesday afternoons, an earlier commute, a shorter commute, duties call
Straight down North road between four lanes of roaring traffic, it really is an uninspiring bike route. Then up along the Djerring trail to Oakleigh and oh yay, some ijut has parked across the “No Standing” box at the end of the car park and is blocking access to the path. Managed to squeeze past, resisting the impulse to take the wing mirrors off when they caught on the handlebars. Let me see, hmm, yes it was October last year when the bollard here was cut off with an angle grinder so people could either drive onto the path or park over it, I guess it took decades for Monash council and railways to put the first bollard in, we can’t expect the replacement any time soon
