Yeesh, collected by another cyclist in Clayton. I don’t know what it is about the people riding around there, endless very cheap hard-rubbish bikes, helmets on backwards if at all, on the footpath, on the road, either side as the mood takes them. Today’s was on the footpath parallel to me, then a sudden right angle swerve down a driveway and out across the road. Screech of my brakes and a thump as I hit his front wheel. “Oh sorry, so sorry!” as I go around him and he rides off down the wrong side of the next cross street
Rode down Carinish road and up past the school and hospital because the rail level crossing was closed, a minor variation, it avoids the throngs where the bike path goes through Clayton station, but exposes you to a few more of Clayton’s finest road users on the roads
