A couple of hours in a very full three-coach V/Locity train and we’re back at Clayton for the short ride home. Luckily we got in the train early as it stood on the platform at Sale, so we got a decent pair of seats – I did remark to the conductor that they could almost do with a six-car set for the one train a day from Sale but he said it wasn’t needed, apparently a dozen people standing in the aisles from Morwell doesn’t mean it’s too full! Interesting how many people got on at Pakenham and Dandenong to use it to get to the city, even though supposedly the V/Line trains won’t take on passengers. Six bikes in the six bike spaces, a bit of juggling needed before getting out as of course the innermost bikes want the earliest departure! Might help if those bike spaces were just a fraction longer to fit most bikes’ wheelbase in
