Cool and windy, up to Caulfield, then check out the progress of the bike paths along the new rail trench. Nothing happening on the first section, from Leamington street down to Neerim road, but from Neerim south to Glen Huntly station is open at last – no room for any trees or gardens, just a concrete rail trench, a concrete wall, a concrete bike path and a road. No shade or shelter. From Glen Huntly south the bike path is still under construction, or under a construction site, so back on the road as far as Ormond, then back through side streets to home
