Cloudy and dull, wet paths from recent rains. About quarter of an hour later than my usual departure due to school-holiday laziness
Down along the Djerring trail to Clayton, up through the suburb to Monash Uni. Two points of interest, a Metro engineer in his hi-vis standing in the path down near Huntingdale station where it always floods, examining the lay of the land – he confirmed he was looking at the flooding, maybe https://www.neatstreets.com.au/Report/10140439 will one day be fixed. Second was riding up along Kanooka grove, that extra fifteen minutes meant that the Friday garbage collection has been and gone – I nearly always have to dodge them somewhere up the hill,but not today. Perhaps I should leave later on Fridays as a matter of course
