There’s a saying that “if its not on Strava, it didn’t happen” and apparently, despite me knowing that I’ve ridden between Myrtleford and Bright in the past, it must have been pre-2005 and pre-Garmin as there’s no tracks in my accumulation of GPX files. Opportunity to fix that this morning when a group of friends announced that they were riding to Myrtleford … or the berry farm, or perhaps the berry farm and then Myrtleford. All got a bit confusing along the way with three of us riding – or at least two riding and one hand-cranking a trike – straight to Myrtleford, while the others all stopped in at Buffalo Berry farm for morning tea. Then some of them went back to Bright, while others came on to meet us at Myrtleford … except that some of them then turned around at the 20km point and the rest then stopped for lunch at the Happy Valley pub where we finally met up. A beer, some excellent food, and back to Bright, eventually all re-meeting up at the campsite
