Eleven years ago we spent a few days in Jamieson and enjoyed it, so this year we came here for two days after the annual camping trip to Bright. Afternoon ride covered most of the streets of town, although I managed to miss one or two, then out of town to the east. Turned off onto a gravel track and went up … then steeply up … then got off and walked. Eventually managed to remount and rode up to join Sappers track, then gently back down to river level and back into town. Seems I’d gone around the local “paw prints walk”, but in the opposite to the suggested direction
Then it was out along the shore of Lake Eildon and across to the Jamieson brewery to see if they’ll be open for dinner tomorrow – there was some dispute in the caravan park as they’re not sure if the brewery is finishing their “summer hours” last weekend or next weekend. Turns out its next weekend, so I had a beer and rode back to the cabin to share the news
