Perusing the map before going for the daily ride I spotted a park down south that had a bike path in it, can’t recall ever having ridden there. Checking on wandrer and indeed I’d never recorded a ride on it, couldn’t even remember what it looks like. Also saw that there were any number of side streets down in that part of the world that I’d not ridden, so off I went …
Around and around a few blocks, all very flat roads and a fascinating mix of houses. Some old, some new, some well designed, some not. A few stops to check the map and figure out where I was going then finally found myself down at the park in question, a quick spin through it along the bike path and start to wend my way back north to Hughesdale, with only one wrong choice as I came out mid-block on North road during peak afternoon commute o’clock. Ugh, no way to cross, back down and across a few streets and up Poet to Poath and home
Yeesh, one very very close pass by a boy-racer in his Audi A4, must check to see if the #Cycliq was actually working and recording video, not that Vic #police are the least bit interested in close passes, not even if they hit you. It only seems to be after someone is killed and they ask other road users if anyone has any footage
