After a long day driving to Lorne from South Australia we found ourselves back in Victoria, back on the Great Ocean Road, and back in a familiar timezone … except we’ve lost an hour with the end of daylight saving so it’ll be getting gloomy soon and I haven’t been out for a ride. I’d thought about sneaking out for a quicky at one of the stops along the way, but that didn’t happen so here I am going out to the St George river and back. Just to be different I went up Grand Parade, a side-street I could have sworn I’ve never ridden before, checking later the all knowing Strava and all-seeing eye of Wandrer tell me otherwise, I have been here before. Then one street back from the main road all the way around to the pub, out to the river, a quick photo and home via the supermarket
