Exploring the park that’s in the middle of Caulfield racecourse – now named “Caulfield Commons” and with a bit more signage than it used to have. The mysterious foot tunnel to get in from the north side seems even more well hidden than it used to be. Its a lovely spot, the updated surrounds of the lake have information signage about all the local birdlife – thankfully free of Noisy miners due to careful plantings. Home was continuing on around the park, past where the old stables have been demolished, then side roads
Then home along bits of Glen Huntly road and the Rosstown Rail Trail
