There’s a bar on campus that seems to never be open, I’d given up on them, then a week ago saw they were open at lunch time – asked and they assured me they were open until 5.30pm Mon-Fri – went there after work today and once again they’re closed! So off down the route normal taken to get to work, perhaps a beer at Kaiju in the last of the afternoon daylight. Its a bit of a barn of a place, not suited to the cooler weather, but fine today, even if I did have to have only the one, at 10% a particularly strong red ale. Then a message to meet, off up to Hughesdale and catch up at the usual bar, one small light beer and walk home from there – due to company, not beer
