After , I wanted to stay as far away from roads and Melbourne’s Marvellous Motorists as I could, so it was up and back on a bike path … err, shared footpath
Upstream along Scotchmans Creek trail to Forster road Mount Waverley and home again … but with a few sneaky side diversions. Off around the Huntingdale wetlands (which are not in Huntingdale), through the bush along the creek until the freeway tunnel underpass, and back on the gravel tracks and through the concrete creek culvert back under the freeway. Oops, picked tunnel one not two. One is drier, but has large drifts of sand, two has a trickle of water and slime in the middle, but the water flow when its fuller clears out the sand. Made it most of the way through the sand then slithered to a halt
