The semi-ceremonial Last Ride of the Year, the #LROTY. There’ll always be one, I guess, providing there is some riding during the year, but I like to make sure its on the 31st and a little bit interesting. Today it was only a little bit, off down the #GOR from Lorne to Kennett River, a coffee, sit for a while and watch tourists drive in and drive out, then back to Lorne to sit and enjoy a beer. Overall the drivers weren’t too bad, but some are just woefully inept, they either cannot pass or wait for ages until the road is completely empty, but then crawl past barely inches away regardless! If only the Vic. government actually put some signs up about the legal passing distance, like that Tassie government does. Pie in the sky thinking, I’ll be wanting the police to actually enforce the law too!
