It was such a pleasant afternoon, and for once there was nothing else I needed to be doing, that I took myself out for a couple of hours riding up in the direction of the Waverleys – Mount & Glen
After decades of nothing there and nothing happening, it looks as though a missing section of the “Waverley Rail Trail” is finally being built, there’s construction happening between Jordanville station car park on up the hill towards Mount Waverley
Damper Creek Reserve had looked interesting on a friend’s ride map a few days ago, and I’d been past a few times, so up to explore. So many frogs!
Then winding and twisting through side streets and housing redevelopments, lots of families with kids out walking in the afternoon. Over to busy Saturday afternoon shopping and traffic in the Glen for a sit in the sun and a coffee, then home back down the Waverley Trail and Scotchmans Creek Trails
