Staff everywhere just blindly executed the attachments — a disappointing state of affairs given the publicity surrounding the number of viruses that propagate via email. Around noon our anti-virus vendor supplied us with an update and we set about mopping up.
Meanwhile — out in the real world — the bike path was covered in broken glass again — resulting in one punctured rear tyre, someone has dumped another trailer load of household garbage beside the path near the Malvern tennis courts, and this evening there seemed to be four or more old mattresses beside the path! “Bike path” is apparently now a euphemism for garbage dump.
